Jim Beesley, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Office, Jim is ultimately in charge of the executive direction of HR Strategies. It is through his vision of value perception and a service model of customizable boutique HR Solutions, rather than a “one size fits all” concept that HR Strategies is moving to the forefront of the Human Resource and PEO industry.

Jim entered the PEO industry by opening the Stone Mountain Group in 1991 to relieve small business owners of Human Resource administration burdens. He then merged Stone Mountain Group with Vincam in 1996, and continued to serve as Area President. In 1999, Vincam was acquired by ADP, and Jim continued to serve as Area President and a Controlling Person for ADP. He has also spent several years with other PEO’s in the sales and operations departments. In 2007, Jim purchased Allstaff HR Group and continues to serve as CEO of the rebranded HR Strategies. 

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mercer University. In addition, he has been a co-founder of the state chapter of our professional association GAPEO, and acted in leadership roles on a state and federal level in the industry for 19 years.  In 1997, Jim was an essential part of the state legislation passed in behalf of the PEO industry in the State of Georgia. He has spoken several times at industry conferences and has published several articles on the PEO industry.

Allen Bodenhagen, Vice President of Client Service/HR

As Vice President of Client Service/HR, Allen is involved in and oversees the functions of our HR consulting, training, client satisfaction, and client retention.  He is responsible for the management of HR for our client companies, and helps ensure their compliance with government regulations. In addition, he provides management and supervisory training for our clients. Allen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, as well as certificates in training for HBDI and Interaction Management.

Allen has over 40 years of combined experience in Human Resources. Over 25 years have been with Fortune 500 and International companies including Fisher Scientific Company, Kennametal, and Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Company. The last 15 years have been with Human Resources outsourcing companies. His experience has been primarily as a Human Resources Generalist with a focus on employee relations, training, and employment law.

Georgiana Britt, Vice President of Operations

As Director of Operations, Georgiana keeps everything running smoothly by making sure that all departments are working together to effectively service our clients. In addition, she is responsible for the database management of our HRIS system, our first contact for IT support, and oversees the operational functions of HR Strategies.

Georgiana holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Management. She entered the PEO business in 1993 as Payroll Manager for Stone Mountain Group, and later became Vice President of Operations for them. In 2007, Georgiana joined our team as Vice President of Operations. 

Angie Passmore, Director of Payroll Operations

As Director of Payroll Operations, Angie not only oversees the daily operations of the payroll department, but also is responsible for maintaining our high level of accuracy and satisfaction of our payroll clients. In addition, Angie is responsible for setting up and managing new clients through their first few payroll cycles. She supplies clients with customized reports and helps with the management of garnishments.

Angie is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Prior to joining our team in 2004, she was responsible for all aspects of payroll, human resources, and benefits administration for a school supply company.

MariaElena Ayala, Vice President of Client Services/HR

As Vice President of Human Resources and Client Services, MariaElena oversees the daily functions and overall management of our Client Services, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and Worker’s Compensation departments. Through her vast knowledge and experiences in every function of the PEO world, MariaElena is able to integrate the functions and disciplines of our internal staff resulting in the streamlining and continual improvement of the effectiveness of our corporate functions; thus enabling us to provide the best service possible to our clients.

MariaElena holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  With over 15 years of Human Resource management experience including HR responsibilities in the PEO industry as well as Senior Human Resource Management experience in corporate environments, Maria Elena holds the highest professional distinctions in the HR and Benefits fields, of SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist). MariaElena is also fluent in Spanish, and is able to easily communicate with bi-lingual clients and employees.

Russ Berkhan, Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Russ’ duties are to manage and direct our sales staff and brokers, and he is ultimately in charge of selling the customizable Human Resource solutions we offer. It is through his vision and efforts that we develop new markets and strategic partnerships, therefore gaining new clients. In addition, he also aids in the development of marketing materials to reach our current and prospective clients, allowing them to see the many ways that our solutions will aid them in growing their own business.

Russ has over thirty years experience in sales for many industries including retail, construction & development, franchise, and PEO. He joined our team in 1994, after originally being a client for two years. Russ has received numerous sales awards over the years including sales person of the year, district sales manager of the year, president’s club, and top producer. Russ has also served on the Board of Director’s for Eastside Bank & Trust.

Kim Williams, Director of Benefits

As Director of Benefits, Kim is responsible for overseeing the entire function of benefits administration including enrollments and claims and making sure everything is handled efficiently, accurately, and to our client’s satisfaction.  In addition, Kim is responsible for setting the policies and procedures for our benefits department to ensure that everything is running smoothly. She also is involved in the reconciliation of benefits; the research of discrepancies with carriers and the resolution.

Before joining our team in 2007, Kim worked for a small business entrepreneur for 16 years handling all aspects of office administration including benefits, payroll, and accounting.
